Experiment in the Functional Simulation of a Special Purpose Computer,
Abstract
The article examines an experiment in the functional simulation of a special purpose computer using the general purpose M-220 computer. The MODIS language with its translator and a program for simulating digital automata were used for the simulation. Certain type of technical documentation, samples of which were presented in the article, were obtained from data about the SEVM (Special Purpose Computer) which had been checked on a model with the aid of special servicing programs.
