On One Algorithm of a Statistical Model for Grouping Bursts of Errors during Transmission of Digital Information,

Abstract

The problem is presented of constructing a universal statistical model adequate for a wide class of communication channels and retaining the structure of the errors in them. Such a model is convenient for research because of the possibility of substituting the real parameters of errors of the actual communication channel. Two methods of superposition of errors on the signal in th model of the communication channel are discussed. (Author)
