British Theoretical Mechanics Colloquium (13th), Dundee, 29 March-2 April 1971.
Abstract
The Thirteenth British Theoretical Mechanics Colloquium was held at the University of Dundee on 29 March to 2 April 1971. There were 243 registered participants of which 214 came from 37 British universities, and the remaining 29 were about equally divided between British government laboratories and foreign universities. The format of the three-day meeting included four one-hour invited lectures and 54 half-hour contributed papers, which were presented in three parallel sessions and which covered a rather wide variety of subject. The Appendix contains the abstracts of the contributed papers as written by the authors. (Author)
