The Correlation between Exoelectronic Emission and Susceptibility to Corrosion under Stress in Iron Alloy (Korrelyatsiya Mezhdu Ekeelektronnei Emissiei Splavov na Osnove Zheleza i Sklonnostyu k Kerrezii ped Naprazheniem),

Abstract

Measurement of exelectronic emmission in Fe-Ni alloys shows greater emission as Ni content decreases; corrosion under stress is also inversely related to Ni content. The effect is explained as due to the nature of emission centers--points at which shear lines reach the surface. (Author)
