Digital-Data Output Capability for High-Power Impedance Measuring System.
Abstract
Modifications have been made to the high-power impedance system of the USRD Anechoic-Tank Facility, and a new subsystem has been designed and constructed to improve the measurement accuracy and increase the speed with which null-balance measurements can be made. The data developed by these measurements are both typed and punched out on tape by an ASR33 Teletype machine under the control of the new subsystem. Later, the information on the tape is supplied to a PDP-8/I computer for processing. The new equipment is described in detail. (Author)
