Abstract

The report presents the logistics evaluation phase test plan of the technical evaluation plan for major containers. Fleet Issue and Return (FIR) containers and related handling equipment associated with the Mk 48 Mod 0 Torpedo and Mk 27 Mod 0 Target. Objectives of the technical evaluation plan are to establish that preproduction (prototype) containers and handling equipment are adequate for fleet use, and compatible with logistic requirements defined by stockpile-to-target sequence with respect to transportation, handling, storage and stowage of all major and FIR containers for torpedo and target.
