Abstract

In this, the final report of Project STARDUST, a review is given of the results of analyses of filter and gas samples collected during the course of the program, 1961 to 1967, and a summary is given of the conclusions reached on the basis of these results concerning the influence of atmospheric processes on the transfer and fallout of radioactive materials injected into the stratosphere. Reference is made to results obtained during Project HASP also, for in many ways, Project STARDUST was a continuation of that program.
