Optimal Tracking Laws.

Abstract

The method of solution of inhomogeneous linear-quadratic optimization problems, which was previously applied to the intercept problem, is applied to the tracking problem. How the higher derivatives of the relative motion are incorporated in the control law is shown. The results have application of line-of-sight tracking systems. (Author)
