Linear Predictors for Predicted Fire Weapons,

Abstract

The analysis of simple linear predictors for fire control of predicted-fire weapons is discussed in this report. The performance of the predictor as a function of the intensity of the target's maneuvers and the measurement noise is considered. The predictor parameters are optimized to minimize the combined error resulting from noise and maneuvers. The ultimate objective is to employ the optimal parameter in the implementation of an adaptive predictor. (Author)
