On a General Glass of Inequalities for the Euclidean Norm of Matrices.
Abstract
A class of generalizations of Schur's inequality Summation of the (absolute value of (lambda sub i)) squared = or < (Norm of the matrix A) squared based on the concept of diagonal dominance and Gerschgorin disks is presented. Numerical and analytical applications are given or pointed out. (Author)
