Ecology and Distribution of Mammalian Ectoparasites, Arboviruses, and their Hosts in Venezuela.

Abstract

A study of the ecology, distribution, and abundance of mammalian arthropod ectoparasites, arboviruses, and their hosts is being conducted in Venezuela. It is attempting to recognize and define species, to map their distribution and abundance, to discover and define dominant environmental factors limiting populations, and to set up an ecological classification.
