Calculations of Electron Impact Cross Sections.

Abstract

The report is concerned with calculations of atomic collision processes with the generalized multiconfiguration, multichannel electron-atom scattering code. Results are presented for the scattering of low energy electrons by nitrogen(+) and oxygen(++) and comparison made with the only other configuration interaction model developed to date. Collision of strengths for transitions out of the ground state configuration of ions of nitrogen and oxygen are given. (Author)
