Trans-Equatorial Transmissions at Very High Frequency.

Abstract

The report contains analysis of data collected during a pilot monitoring experiment at Roma, Lesotho of 40 MHz transequatorial F-layer transmission (TEF) originating from the Greek Police network during the period September 1967 through August 1968. The analysis includes a study of diurnal and seasonal variation in both the occurrence and strength of received signal. (Author)
