Absolute Spectral Measurements of Solar Radiation in the Infrared Region from 3-13 micrometer,

Abstract

The following problems were set up: detn. of abs. values for solar radiation flux within the earth's atm. at 3-13 mu; detn. of the brightness temp. of the center of the solar disk in the given spectral range; and detn. of the quantity of solar energy absorbed by the earth's atm. under different conditions in the examd. spectral range. A cylindrical model of an abs. black radiator was used for energy calibration of the spectrophotometer. The radiator is described in detail. To study the solar spectrum, values for the relative solar radiation flux outside the atm. were obtained from observations of the spectrum transmissivity of the earth's atm. made in 1962-3. (Author)
