Determination of Coordinates of Reflecting Points on the Meteor Station KGU-M4,

Abstract

The difficulties in calibrating a short antenna base of a measurement complex associated with the relative influence of closely spaced antennas necessitated the use of a method for excluding ambiquity when the role of a short base is played by the difference in two long bases differing from another in the development of a new variant of a meteor radar station for Kazan' University (KGU-M4). The article discusses the factors involved in selecting lengths of measurement bases. (Author)
