About the Means of Introducing Diphenylamine into Lithium Greases,

Abstract

The high effectiveness has been shown of the inhibiting action of diphenylamin upon its introduction during the homogenization of grease prepared by the periodic means. It has been established, that during the production of greases by the continuous method on a pilot device, the means of introducing diphenylamin does not show a substantial effect on its effectiveness; the optimum concentration of the additive is about 0.3-0.6 percent by weight when calculating by the dispersion medium.
