Studies of Low Density Plasmas with Gas Lasers.

Abstract

The report summarizes studies of low density plasmas with gas lasers that have been made by the Gaseous Electronics Laboratory of the University of Illinois. Techniques have been developed for diagnostics of medium density plasmas, of gas discharges capable of lasing and of excited state species in gas discharges. (Author)
