Conference on l'Espace et la Communication, Paris, 29 March-2 Apr 1971.

Abstract

An open conference on satellite communications was held in Paris in the Spring of 1971 prior to the World Radio Conference to be held in Geneva in the Summer. The Conference served as a very good forum for uninhibited discussion and should help the official delegates at the Geneva conference to formulate good regulations governing the use of satellites for various aspects of communication. The areas that received major coverage were telecommunication, broadcasting and air traffic control. (Author)
