The X-Ray K Spectra and Band Structure of the 50-50 Alloys TiFe, TiCo and TiNi (Rentgenovskie K-spektry i Zonnaya Struktura Ekvyatomnykh Splavov TiFe, TiCo i TiNi),

Abstract

It is of interest to conduct x-ray spectral studies of TiFe, TiCo, and TiNi and to compare the spectra obtained with each other and with the theoretical density of states curve obtained by the augmented plane wave method for nonmagnetic bcc iron this will show whether or not the K Beta(5) bands and the initial absorption regions correspond in shape to the N(E) curve when there is subsequent occupation of the hybridized dsp band in TiCo and TiNi (with electron concentration greater than six electrons per atom).
