A Nonlinear Predator - Prey Problem.

Abstract

Biologists have studied predator-prey problems in which the growth rates of the species are linear in the populations. Here a class of non-linear problems is examined and it is shown that the equilibrium populations are close to those of the linearized model and that the approach to equilibrium is qualitatively the same as in the linear case.
