Recent Innovative Technical Documentation Developments Impacting Maintenance of Hardware Systems.
Abstract
Recent interest has been expressed in several of the military services and industry regarding improved technical documentation for operations and maintenance. The report provides a summary of relevant research which met the criteria of an operational experiment to test new means of presenting technical data. Included is an attempt to relate the possible impact of these new techniques across various areas in the Navy (e.g., documentation, training, personnel, etc.). (Author)
