High-Energy Pulsed Liquid Laser.

Abstract

The design and fabrication of the component subsystems for two different liquid laser systems, a Q-switched oscillator and a long-pulse oscillator and amplifier, are briefly reviewed. Assembly and testing of the subsystems are described in detail. For the Q-switched oscillator unit, experimental results on the dynamic loss and the dependence of output on flow speed are presented and discussed. (Author)
