Transportability of Tactical Bridging.

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to define in detail the transportability of military tactical bridges as part of an overall mathematical model for bridge effectiveness. The development of the transportability function has led to isolation of the significant mobility criterion of transport effort. Transport effort has been defined as the number of vehicles required for moving the bridge. A transportability effectiveness comparison has been made utilizing two typical military tactical bridges.
