Automated Teaching: History, Principles and Applications,

Abstract

The report offers a review of the automated teaching field and the phychological principles which underlie it. Research findings are presented as well as the general rules governing the use of self-instructional devices. Current and anticipated uses are included with special emphasis on military usage.
