Modifications to Elevation-on-Azimuth Tracking Pedestal.

Abstract

The report is the final report covering the modifications performed on the Elevation-On-Azimuth Tracking Pedestal located at Hamscom Field. The modifications were performed in three areas: servo centering loop, slew speed increase, and addition of paper tape reader and controller. The report covers the objectives of the program, installation and operating procedures for the new hardware and the theory of operation of the mofidications. (Author)
