Quasi-Linear Elliptic and Parabolic Equations.
Abstract
In this report the authors give an outline of the work performed under the contract. For more detailed discussions the authors refer to the five technical reports which go with this terminal report. The titles of the technical reports are the following: Similarity profiles of flows through porous media; Asymptotic behaviour of solutions of the porous media equation; On the asymptotic behaviour of velocity profiles in laminar boundary layers; Limit conditions on the solutions of quasi-linear elliptic and parabolic equations, and, On the stability of symmetric and asymmetric concentration profiles in catalyst particles.
