Abstract
The increase of bow fullness of tankers causes an increase in added towing resistance in the region Lambda/L > or = 1. The increase of bow fullness leads to greater speed loss in the region Lambda/L > or = 1. The increase of bow fullness tends to damp pitching. (Author)
