The Role of Advection in the Thermal Interaction of Sea and Atmosphere,

Abstract

The basic laws and results of the inter-latitude heat transfer over the oceans and continents are established and analyzed. The significance of the general circulation of the atmosphere is that the coefficient of advection heat-transfer over the oceans is several times greater than the advection heat-transfer over the continents.
