A Three-Dimensional Ray-Tracing Method for the Calculation of Radome Boresight Error and Antenna Pattern Distortion

Abstract

A technique for determining radome boresight error and antenna pattern distortion for a three-dimensional geometry is described. The technique relies on formulae developed for plain wave transmission through complex dielectric sheets modified to account for radome curvature plus a ray tracing technique applicable to a three-dimensional geometry. Numerical results are not discussed.
