On the Problem of Stabilization of Aromatic Polyimides (K Voprosu o Stabilizatsii Aromaticheskikh Poliimidov),
Abstract
The objective of this report was to study the comparative thermal stabilities of polyimides containing different amounts of various halides. The investigation was performed with samples of powdered poly(oxydiphenylene, 1,2,4,5- benzenetetracarboxylimide) containing 0.001 to 0.50 M fragments of halogenated 1,2,4,5- benzenetetracarboxylic dianhydride in the polymer chain. For comparison unstabilized samples were also studied. (Author, modified-PL)
