On the Interpretation of the Gravity Anomalies in the Baikal Area (K Interpretatsii Gravitatsionnykh Anomalii Pribaikalya),
Abstract
The paper is a discussion of the author's attempt to find out the causes of the gravity anomalies in the Baikal area. The existing disagreements in the interpretation of gravity anomalies of the Baikal area are connected with a fundamentally different evaluation of the abyssal factors and of the isostatic state of the Baikal basin. The results of the author's attempt to find out the causes of the indicated deviations in interpretation are stated. (Author)
