On the Theory of Invariant Sets in Stochastic Stability,

Abstract

The concept of invariance is quite useful in the theory and applications of the stability of deterministic dynamical systems. In the first part, some of the salient aspects of the theory of invariant sets in stochastic stability, are discussed and in the second part a particular example which arises in an identification problem is automatic control is given.
