Study of the Effect of Dry Friction in Suspensions on the Vibrations of an Automobile with Complex Excitation,

Abstract

Equations are obtained which demonstrate an observed vibrational or statistical linerization effect of a suspension with dry friction during the simultaneous effect of two frequency vibration or frequency spectra on an automobile. Expressions are derived which take into consideration the damping capacity of dry friction and the effect of dry friction on the transmission factor of a suspension.
