Plasma Physics at the University College of North Wales, Bangor,
Abstract
The report gives an account of a liaison visit to the University College of North Wales in Bangor, where Professor T.J.M. Boyd, in scarcely two years after becoming Head of the Applied Mathematics Department, has strengthened his Department by providing energetic leadership in all sectors, and by creating with staff members already on hand a Plasma Research Group that, for its size and youth, is exemplary in its Productivity and high quality of research. The report gives a summary account of the main six fields of plasma research now currently going on at Bangor. (Author)
