Verification Data: AFGWC 1000 mb Macro-Scale Prediction Model,

Abstract

Forecasts produced by the AFGWC 1000 mb Macro-Scale Prediction Model are compared with observational data from RAWINSONDE sites. Monthly summaries are included for March, April and May 1971. These summaries include frequency distribution and error statistics for 12, 24 and 36 hour forecasts of temperature and D-value. (Author)
