Linear-FM Spectra via a Fast Fourier Transform Algorithm,

Abstract

The report presents the results of an investigation of the spectral characteristics of a linear-FM pulse of various time-bandwidth products. An application of a 13-bit Fast Fourier Transform algorithm to the analytic form of the linear-FM signal allows an economical spectrum computation. The spectra are investigated in an attempt to relate their ripple characteristics to the waveform's time-bandwidth product. (Author)
