SM-1 Flow Distribution Analysis.
Abstract
All of the literature related to the previous SM-1 core 3 flow distribution is reviewed. The possible source of the original flow distribution is discussed as well as the results of pressure drop tests made on AM-1 fuel elements. A new flow distribution is calculated for core 3 and compared to the previous one. The element maldistribution is predicted for each element, and finally, a map of nominal and hot channel mass velocity is given. (Author)
