National Shoreline Study. Texas Coast Shores. Regional Inventory Report.

Abstract

In 1968, the 90th Congress authorized this National appraisal of shore erosion and shore protection needs. This National Shoreline Study and the existing Federal shore protection programs recognize beach and shore erosion as problems for all levels of government and all citizens. To satisfy the purposes of the authorized legislation, a family of 12 related reports. The reports are: Regional inventory reports; Shore protection guidelines; Shore management guidelines; and Report on the national shoreline study. (Author)
