Digital Address Thin Display Tube.
Abstract
The report describes the progress which occurred during the fifth quarter of a Research and Development contract to develop a 32 x 52 resolution element digital address, thin display tube for a man-pack radar. During this quarter the design and development of photomasks for fabricating new E.S.D.-type switching plates was completed. The first full set of electroded plates was completed and assembled for bell-jar testing. A flat, rectangular all-glass envelope was designed and component parts for it were ordered. A low-power flood gun modified to reduce its thickness was readied for testing. (Author)
