Dimension Yields from Black Walnut Lumber.
Abstract
Charts are presented for determining yields of dimension from the top four grades of walnut lumber. The basic chart for each grade is for random-width material, with an adjustment for determining yields in other widths. Yield and cost comparisons can be made of the various grades and grade mixes to obtain the most economical choice for a specific cutting order. (Author)
