Intermediate Pulsewidth Laser System

Abstract

The report is the second in the series of semiannual technical reports on Contract N00014-66-C-0056. It begins discussion on phase two of the contract which consists of the design, construction and delivery of an intermediate pulsewidth laser system. Subjects covered include experiments in the use of a saturable absorber to decouple the laser amplifier rods and efforts leading to the design of a stacked plate polarizer.
