Transient Acoustic Scattering by a Free (Pressure Release) Sphere.

Abstract

The transient scattering of plane and spherical acoustic pulses by a pressure release spherical surface is studied by means of a Kirchhoff integral formulation. Results are compared to modal solutions and show improvement in early time response calculations. (Author)
