Studies of Slurry Fueled Propulsion Systems.

Abstract

The literature pertinent to the combustion of single boron particles is reviewed in some detail. The objective of the review was to obtain information that may be employed to model the combustion of clouds of boron particles resulting from the spray of boron loaded slurry fuels. Descriptions are given of three combustor can configurations for use with an air atomizer slurry fuel injector. (Author)
