Earthquake Activity and Strain Changes Associated with Underground Explosions.
Abstract
During the period of this grant, efforts were concentrated on investigations of the possible triggering influence on regional earthquake activity by other phenomena, including large underground explosions; on a study of static strains generated by underground explosions; and on detailed studies of small earthquakes. Progress in these categories over the grant period are described in this report. (Author)
