Mathematical Techniques for the Analysis of the Dynamic Response of Flexible Vehicles.

Abstract

Contract personnel did research on ordinary differential equations (mainly, on interpolation problems for n-th order (linear or non-linear) equations, on existence theory and asymptotic behavior for solutions of singular boundary value problems arising in fluid mechanics, and 'dichotomies' for differential-functional equations), and on differential geometry (e.g., properties of isometric immersions in Euclidean space of Riemann manifolds with non-negative sectional curvature). A list of publications and description of some of the most significant results is given in the attached report. (Author)
