Project Gun Probe Captive Impact Test Range.

Abstract

The report describes the newly completed Captive Impact Test Range at White Sands Missile Range, which is used in support of the Atmospheric Sciences Laboratory's Meteorological Gun Probe Sounding Programs. The report covers, in two sections, the use of the range as a captive test range and its use as a high-velocity, destructive impact range. (Author)
