Some Multidimensional Spline Approximation Methods,

Abstract

Some multidimensional spline approximation methods are constructed from one dimensional methods by forming tensor products and by using blending methods. The questions of convergence for continuous and for L sub p functions, the rates of convergence for classes of smooth functions, and the convergence of derivatives are studied. (Author)
