Differential Equations and Their Application to Air Force Problems of Heat and General Thermal Conductivity.

Abstract

The main part of the report consists of a description of nine research papers covering the following areas: the heat equation, second order elliptic partial differential equations, Fourier and singular integrals, subharmonic functions, and multiple trigonometric series. In particular in these papers, new techniques in trigonometric series useful in solving problems in partial differential equations are both developed and applied. (Author)
