The Synthesis of Indigogenic Substrates.
Abstract
The synthesis of the following compounds were attempted: 5-Iodo-4-chloro-3-indolyl-beta-D-galactoside; 5-Iodo-4-Bromo-3-indolyl-beta-D-galactoside; 5-Bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl-beta-D-deoxy glucoside; 5-Iodo-3-indolyl-beta-D-galactoside; 5-Iodo-3-indoleamino-leucine amide; Chito tetrose; 5-Bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl-chitobioside. Of these compounds, 5-Iodo-3-indolyl-beta-D-galactoside and number seven, 5-Bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl-chitobioside were prepared.
