Unstable Conditions of Turbodynamics. Rotating Stall,

Abstract

The book gives the results of experimental and theoretical research of unstable conditions in turbodynamos. In this case primary attention is paid to conditions of rotating stall. The characteristics of the procedure of experimental research and of the low-inertia apparatus used in this case are described. Some methods of expansion of the area of stable conditions are given. This book is intended for scientific workers, graduate students, and engineer-designers working in the area of research and design of gas-turbine engines, compressors, fans, and pumps.
